The Axial C-Type Combined Seal consists of a C-shaped sealing ring made of filled PTFE and a rubber O-ring; it is designed for static sealing applications such as axial (end-face) and flange seals. Key features include a long service life, excellent sealing performance, high-pressure resistance, and a compact structural footprint; it is also suitable for hydraulic sealing applications. Available in two versions: RC2872-A (for internal pressure) and RC2872-B (for external pressure).

This seal consists of a C-shaped PTFE sealing ring and an O-ring; the O-ring provides pre-compression, generating the clamping force required to achieve a seal. Under pressure, this clamping force increases—meaning the seal performs better as pressure rises. Thanks to the slipper ring's double-flange design, the O-ring is prevented from extruding, allowing the seal to withstand high pressures.
