The Bore Foot Type Combined Seal consists of a foot-shaped sealing ring made of PTFE (or a PTFE composite) and a rubber O-ring; it is designed for single-acting sealing in hydraulic and pneumatic reciprocating applications. It is categorized into the RC53 and RC54 series based on the matching O-ring (compliant with the GB1235 standard). Thanks to the thin-lip design of the sealing ring, it offers excellent follow-up compensation and superior sealing performance. It performs well under both high and low-pressure conditions, operates without "stick-slip" (crawling), supports long-term oil-free sealing, and is widely used for high-pressure cylinder pistons.
The wedge-shaped groove on the foot-shaped sealing surface enhances sealing integrity and contamination resistance while reducing friction. The structural design also improves the seal's pressure-bearing capacity. Generally, it is not suitable for installation in closed grooves.
