The Reinforced Step Combined Seal for Rod (designed for ultra-high pressure and water-based applications) consists of a reinforced right-angled sealing ring made of PTFE (or a PTFE composite) and a rubber O-ring. It is available in the RC58 and RC59 series, depending on the specific O-ring used (compliant with the GB1235 standard). It offers low-friction performance—ensuring zero resistance at startup and smooth reciprocating motion without stick-slip—and is suitable for long-term operation in oil-free environments, thereby significantly reducing the likelihood of equipment failure and lowering maintenance costs.
Thanks to the optimized thickness of the sealing ring, the seal performs effectively even when used with water or other low-viscosity media. The structural design of the reinforced sealing ring also enhances its resistance to high and ultra-high pressures. Generally, this seal cannot be installed in a closed groove.
1. Low friction: minimal startup resistance, smooth motion, equal dynamic and static friction, and no stick-slip;
2. Long service life: suitable for oil-free lubrication applications;
3. Suitable for sealing high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure systems, as well as low-viscosity media such as water;
