The Foot-type Combined Seal consists of a foot-shaped sealing ring (made of PTFE or PTFE composites) paired with a rubber O-ring; it is designed for single-acting sealing in hydraulic and pneumatic reciprocating applications.
It is categorized into the RC03 series and the RC04 series (which utilizes GB1235 series O-rings) based on the accompanying O-ring. The sealing ring features a thin-lip design that offers superior dynamic compensation, resulting in excellent sealing performance. The wedge-shaped groove on the foot-shaped sealing surface improves sealing integrity and contamination resistance while reducing friction. The structural design also enhances the seal's pressure-handling capabilities. Generally, it cannot be installed in closed grooves.
