Cap Combination Seal

The Cap Combination Seal consists of a PTFE cap-shaped seal ring and a rubber O-ring, designed for bidirectional pressure sealing in hydraulic and pneumatic reciprocating applications. The O-ring provides radial force and compensates for wear on the seal ring; the seal ring features a thin-lip design that offers excellent follow-up compensation capabilities, resulting in superior sealing performance. It is compatible with standard GB1235 O-ring grooves. For rod diameters smaller than 30mm, a split-type (open) groove design should be used.

This seal is suitable for both hydraulic and pneumatic operating conditions and supports bidirectional pressure sealing. It offers advantages such as low friction, minimal breakaway resistance, smooth operation without stick-slip, suitability for oil-free lubrication, and a long service life. It requires minimal installation space and allows for easy disassembly and maintenance.

Selection Note: For applications with rod diameters of 30mm or less, the use of a split-type (open) groove is recommended for installation.

Material Selection

1. Materials for the accompanying O-ring include: R01 Nitrile Rubber (NBR), R02 Fluororubber (FKM), etc.

2. Sealing ring material: Standard material PTFE3; alternative materials include PTFE1, PTFE2, and PTFE4.
